There are many in which you can share your work:
- Allow access to named individuals or groups
- Generate a Secret URL (weblink) that can be emailed
- Open your page/collection to all Cranfield staff and students
- make your page public on the web (great for sharing your skills!)
Click on the expandable blocks below for more information:
Option 1 - grant access to named individuals or groups
There are so many ways to share your work, so if you're required to give access to a lecturer, make sure you are clear on how they would like this to happen.
See the manual for details on sharing pages >
Grant access in the permissions:
Go to the burger menu, select 'Share', then select 'Shared by me'. You will then see your collections/pages on two separate tabs.
Locate the 'Edit access' column and select the padlock icon next to the collection/page you want to share:
Within the 'Shared with' section, select 'users' from the 'shared with' drop down, then search for your lecturer. Once located select them from the list. You can also enable them to make comments.
Option 2 - via a private weblink (Secret URL)
You can either generate a secret url within the page/collection you wish to share by selecting the 'share' padlock icon on the right-hand side of the screen when in editing mode, or navigate to the Shared by me area as in option 1 but selecting the secret urls globe icon instead.
Finally select +New secret URL. This will generate a unique link that can be shared
Open the pen icon if you want to set a start and end date for access via this link.
Select Save when finished.
