Welcome to the first ever edition of the CDS inTEL Review, an online collection of stories of technology implementation to enhance teaching, research, and CPD practices. The stories have been provided by academic staff at Cranfield Defence and Security and tell tales of how the adoption of certain technologies have helped them (or didn't help them) to achieve their objectives.

All stories have been submitted via the CDS inTEL information page in Moodle, reviewed by members of Learning Services, and published using Mahara.

All those who have their stories published in this review have been given a digital badge to display on their Moodle Profile and can be shared to their LinkedIn account.

How this works

  • On the left is a menu with a link to the Read our stories page; click on each title to read a short summary of what happened and then follow the link to read more. There is also a 'next page/story' link at the bottom of every page, in case you'd like to flip through the pages in sequence.
  • If you'd like to print a story, look for the three dots in a grey box (print.PNG) in the top right of each page.
  • All links open in the same page, so if you want to open a link in a new window or tab, please 'Right Click' on it and choose the Open in new window option.

A PDF of the CDS inTEL Review is available for you to download at the bottom of this page.

If you are encouraged by any of these stories, please view the Feeling inspired? page, or contact a member of FLSC to discuss how these approaches can be incorporated in your practice.

I hope you enjoy the CDS inTEL Review.
